Different airlines have different rules about this. Usually as long as it's fully collapsible, there isn't a problem. A pram is basically another form of a stroller, but you should call the airline you will be traveling with to ask about their restrictions, as every airline is different.

I work for a major US airline, and we allow a passenger to carry a pram/stroller for their infant as long as it is fully collapsible. The pram will be tagged at check-in, and you can then basically push your baby all the way to the door of the aircraft, where you have to hand it over to one of the luggage handlers so it can be stowed away in the hold for the flight. Upon arrivial, your pram/stroller will be given back to you upon disembarking the aircraft.
But yeah, another airline may have a different rule, so I would ring up their res hotline and ask them to make sure.
