Why did the FBI confiscate the video tape from the gas station and hotel across the street and tell the employees to shut up?

Everything about 9/11/01 is strange. Why did men in suits come out after the explosion and start picking up debris immediately? Why wasn't it treated like a crime scene? Bush was warned on 8/6/01, why didn't he do something?
I recall screaming at the TV on 9/11. "Where is our billion dollar defense system? How do four commercial planes supposedly fly unimpeded around the US for hours? Especially along the Eastern Seaboard where we have our highest concentration of military bases? Where the hell is the commander in chief?"
It was obviously planned and allowed to happen and idiot Americans keep making excuses for it and Bush. We will probably not know the depth of evil perpetrated on that day in our lifetime.

Good question. You think it was some kind of cover up. Anyway, anything is possible isn't it. I theorized that it was our own missle that hits the pentagon from trying to stop one of the planes from crashing into the pentagon or something. That's why the evidences were quickly confisticated and missing from being seen by the public. It could be a big embarrassment if that's the case. Here's the question for you to ponder about. The cement walls at the pentagon is at least 18 or more inches with thick wire mesh planted inside the wall. I JUST CAN'T IMAGINE HOW THE HECK DID AN ALUMINUM BODY PLANE MADE IT THROUGH SIX WALLS IN THE PENTAGON. This never really made any sense to me. I figured it must have been some sort of missile fired from a fighter jet that was powered by high energy rockets. I mean that's the only thing that could ever penetrate six walls about 2 feet thick. Some conservative citizens actually believed that an aluminum body plane is capable of such penetration. Now it's your turn to ponder over that. Good enough, yes?

Actually it's hard to say, but I have yet to see anything really convincing about a conspiracy at the Pentagon. (Re the 9/11 attack.) Furthermore if it wasn't a 757 (as has been suggested) what exactly was it and where did it come from? I really don't believe our own government attacked the Pentagon (another suggestion.) and as for government involvement in the attacks, ONE plane flying into the WTC would have had the desired effect.
No, I don't believe the government is perfect. Far from it at this point, BUT in keeping with the "innocent until proven guilty" approach that I read about somewhere in the constitution I for one am not ready to make THAT kind of an accusation.
One other thing: I work in aviation and I promise you with all of the various investigators from a variety of sources who are involved with any plane crash, covering up a conspiracy like this, or the one suggested with TWA 800 would be damn near impossible. There are just WAY too many people involved.
Oh and I did see that you come from a military family. My family has MANY veterans who thankfully completed their service unharmed. (No losses since WWI) I hope the same kind of good fortune comes to you and your family.

The tape was evidence and it is standard procedure to take the evidence and try to not let it disappear. I assume you think the FBI should know there is evidence but not collect it so you can cry conspiracy, the FBI ignored evidence? And as the case is effectively sub judice, potential witnesses should not be talking to the press, again standard practice.
The engine was from a 757. Sorry, but the conspiracy theorists say it was not from a Pratt and Whitney engine so it was not from Flight 77. Guess what, Flight 77 had Rolls Royce engines, not Pratt and Whitney engines, they can't even get their facts straight. The fan recovered was from a Rolls Royce engine, the type on Flight 77.

Actually, that is not true. It is a myth invented by the conspiracy nuts. It is interesting how there is never any evidence that the supposed one jet engine part is not a 757 or that there were no other pieces. They all say it, but no one seems to know what the source of that information is. Hmm...

where are you getting this???? proof woman! proof! are you an aerospace/aeronautical engineer?? do you know the difference between a 757 or a DC-10?? there is nooooo conspiracy! the truth eventually comes out. always does. life experience will tell you that. why in the heck would our govt. want to crash planes into buildings on purpose??? for oil??? come on. get with the program of real life. and you're making it worse, cause you heard someone say what you're saying and then someone on here is going to see it and say it to someone else.... gezzzzzzzzzz.

The real conspiracy is not that 9/11 was made up to justify war in Iraq, it is that the war in Iraq was made up to justify something else that we don't know about yet. There really isn't any fighting going on there, it is a conspiracy between the Dems and Reps and Fox News and CNN!!
