Don't bother with a cab. Take the subway or bus to Penn Station and then an NJT train to Secaucus. Shouldn't be more than $10 total. I think you'll need a taxi to get to the Meadowlands, though. But in the long run it will be much cheaper (and faster- no traffic to contend with) to go this route rather than solely using a taxi.

It would be fairly expensive, consider the tolls alone! I would just take the train if I were you, it goes to Secaucus. I would think that the cab ride would cost $50 or so. You have to imagine the trip all the way into manhattan, then through the lincoln tunnel, then through rt. 3 to secaucus. and hopefully they have a navigation system because i know that i always miss my exit when i go to harmon meadows for sam's club.

$50 or $60 Easy,
Plus tolls and Tip, plus luggage.
Be sure you know how to get there... if you just tell the driver 'The Medowlands' you will end up at Giants Stadum, Once out side the city, cab drivers are bad with directions, and that will only cost you more $$$$$$$$$$
