There isn't any thing you can do to prevent it, depending on the chemo you are getting, it will either thin out, fall out and as someone already stated it might not come out at all.
You need to ask your Onocologist how severe the loss will be.
The if you think you would be comfortable wearing a wig, get one before it starts coming out and get some hats and scarves, Cut your hair short before it starts coming out so that its not as tramatic.
I have lost mine 3 times over the past 3 years once the chemo treatment stops the hair begins to recover I am 7 months out of my last treatment and have a short curly do.
Thats the other strange thing with chemo is alot of people that never had curly hair get really curly hair when it grows back in.
Its temporary, its only hair, it will grow back
Good luck to you

Depending on the chemotherapy, hair loss either happens or it doesn't. The hair loss, unfortunately is complete - everywhere on your body. Some chemotherapies are more apt to cause hair loss than others. However, everyone can respond a little differently to their treatment. I knew of a patient who received a chemotherapy that absolutely caused hair loss and he did not lose his hair....go figure! It's a good idea to prepare beforehand by getting a wig that matches your current color/syle etc, or cut your hair short before hand to minimize the shock of long hair falling out. There are also a lot of scarves and hats that look great.

There is nothing that will totally stop from loss it and many of the treatments mentioned won't and can't be used on all chemo treatment patients. Not all chemo make you loss your hair totally. It just might thin. Wigs are the best solution.
My personal option bald is not beautiful. The ones that say it is when they loss their hair also let it grow back after treatment. Whose kinding who.

Depending on the type of chemotherapy, hair loss may be mild or complete. Unfortunately, it can't be preventd from happening, but rest assured, your hair will grow back once the chemotherapy is done, sometime fuller and with more body than it did before!

There are many methods to make our hair grow faster, shine , glitter in natural ways without using chemicals. Learn here https://bitly.im/aLVCb Men, and sometimes women, notice that their hair is thinning prematurely for several different reasons. Age, menopause, pregnancy, genetics, illness, and other factors all play a role in hair loss. Sure, you can use drugs or you can go in for a hair transplant or fusion, but sometimes the easiest, most inexpensive solution, is to try to stop hair loss naturally.

not all chemo will make you lose your hair. i had cmf for breast cancer and my hair thinned out, A LOT. if you didn't know me before i had it you would have just thought i had really thin hair. either way, it does grow back, usually thicker and nicer than before. hair loss is the least of your worrries.

am sorry to say nothing can stop this as it is an unfortunate side effect of the treatment.
how ever once it is over the hair does grow back very quickly and has in many cases been reported as being of thicker body.
