details on the Blue sign give times the bus lane is in operation as does the white sign what is the difference in the colours.

the white signs define a permanent bus lane that can't be used by cars at any time, the blue signs tell you when only busses/ taxis etc can use it. out with the stated times it's just like any other lane.

There is a fine legal difference.

The white sign indicates the existance of a bus lane; the blue signs give information about the categories/conditions of use thereof.
