Pacquiao/Barrera or Mayweather/De La Hoya? Do you think that De La Hoya still has the umph?

Wow - alot of boxing fans. Well I hope the best fighter wins. Thanks all for the input. I wish there were more fighters in the field like our past fighters: Ali, Frazier, Spinks, etc......

i would love to see either one of them...honestly even though de la hoya/mayweather is probably a bigger deal i will give the slight edge to pacquiao/barrera because it is sure to be an action fight...mayweather is such a technical fighter and people are so scared to give him any chance to use his speed against them that they tend to fight conservatively and play right into his hands

I would prefer to see Pacquiao/Barrera because both of these fighters are very offensive and are very entertaining win or lose. Barerra's trilogy with Erik Morales was 3 of the most exciting fights I've seen and it was amazing they were both still standing and throwing punches at the end of each fight. Pacquiao doesn't have a defense, he just keeps throwing until something gets through and something always does. When either of these fighters are on a card you can't lose.

De La Hoya is also a fighter who presses the action and is able to make fights exciting but Mayweather, though very skilled, prefers not to get hit and wins a lot of fights by punching and moving. Boxing well but not as exciting as a brawler. Being faster and younger than De La Hoya it may make the fight lopsided and maybe boring -- I hope not and will be rooting for De LA Hoya though.

I would definitely go see De la Hoya and mayweather rather than Pacman-Barrera. First of all, Paxquiao-Barrera has already took place three years ago, and Barrera was on the wrong end of a one-sided beating. As for DLH-PBF, it's yet to take place and I surely think that it will create fireworks. Something that never happened in Pacquiao-Barrera. I wouldn't want to see that again because it would pretty much end with the same (or even worse) result.

i would really like to see the Tommy Morison fight tonight 2/22 even though its only 4 rounds and the winning purs, a woping $200.00 big ones, it will be his fist heavyweight fight in over 10 years. After a troulbled past.(prison 2 years, drug and fire charges, and worst of all,( LIVING WITH A FALS POSITIVE AIDS TEST DIAGNOSED 1996 THAT ENDED HIS CAREER AND THE CAUSE OF HIS DEMISE AND NOW APRX. 10 YEARS LATER AT AGE 38 HE FINDS OUT THE TEST'S WERE WRONG AND HE HAS BEEN NEGATIVE ALL ALONG.) His debu should be a knock sucess and launch him to a heavy weight world title bout.He looks like he is in the best shape of his life and poised at 38.prediction WIN and near future heavy weight title (ALL THREE BELTS ).Its about time for an american champ, and a white boy at that. Bet on Tommy its a good bet. TRENT (mayweather/de la hoya)pick mayweayher, no brainer.De la hoya is now a has been, to old,not hungry enough. Mayweather a much superior fighter i think.Just one mans opinion

Why wouldn't De la hoya have the umph? He's a young 33. And after losing to Trinidad has the heart of a lion. I still don't like that mofo though haha.
