i only know how to make green tea by boiling water but how do i make it cold?

Well, you pour hot water over the teabag and let it seep and release the flavor most efficiently. Then you let it cool.

Or, you can fill a cup half way, left it seep, and then add ice cubes to quicken cooling time.

Make the tea with the boiling water, then pour it into a cup with a lot of ice. Make the tea pretty strong, since when you put it in the cup some of the ice will melt and mix with it.

If you stick to the Oriental tradition, you can grind it to dust and use a wisk to mix it into water. You can also just let it sit in water (let's say in a carafe) for a few days.

An easier way is to brew it as usual and either add ice cubes or put it in the fridge for a while (wait for it to cool down a little before you do that). Add lemon and honey and it makes a pretty good drink. Enjoy!
