what should I do if i am in love with someone who is pulling away from me?

i am really depressed i have been with my partner for 8 months, we live together...i love her to pieces, and she is wanting freedom and claiming shes not in love with me anymore. When shes gone i cant think about anyone else, or anything else. Im alone here with no friends....Its hard to let her go. We have all these plans for the future.

first of all, by you having her as your sole person in your life that did not include other people and friends, is an indication you focused your whole attention onto her. This could be the reason why she wants her freedom. Maybe she is feeling smothered in the relationship. Don't feel sad, I feel there is still a strong chance for this relationship to work. All you need to do is grant her her freedom. Let her know you love her but will accept her wishes to be free. After this do your very best not to contact her in any way. I feel badly for you as I know it must be killing you inside. I bet you do not like playing games and are open and honest with her which makes it harder.

I think you should do your best to move on. Start meeting other women. Do not answer the phone when she calls. Do not see her much just pull waaaaay back. Be out of the house when she is in. Start making plans to move out, leave the circled ads in the paper out so she can she. Go out with your mates and talk loudly on the phone about flats you have seen etc.

This will make her miss you and possibly want you back. If it does not though, one day you will meet a woman you have feelings for again and one that reciprocates. Be sure of this. Man, if you love her, let her go. If it's meant to be then she'll come back. Either that or you'll find another person who makes you feel even more whole, and you'll be glad this happened.
