Yes your gums will grow in around the opening and eventually the "hole" or socket will get allot smaller but they do not always disappear completely. Don't worry about it too much if it is giving you pain it may be what is called dry socket and you can go back to the dentist to get something for the pain and have him or her look at it for you.

Yes, but it won't take long to heal. Swishing salt water in your mouth will help the tissue heal up faster.

Yes it will always be a "hole" but it won't be as bad as it is now.

yup and that hole is going to take quite a while to heal.

yes it totally is, it will take a while to rebuild cartalidge up then that has to harden to bone. but yes its normal
