i called this guy that i have crushin on for a year now and told him he was "eating me alive" he told me it was mutual and that he thought I was beautiful. He said he had no idea thats how i felt. He also said he has been dating someone for a month now and he wants to be honest with me thats why he is telling me that but he continued to tell me that im so beautiful.So i told him he had to tell me to let it go and move on and he said no, i told him he had to, he said he cant because im beautiful.So what is going on with this? What do I get from this? Was he sparing my feelings by not telling me to move on or is he in a pickle now and is confused on what to do?

You need to move on. He's in a relationship and he's trying to let you down easy.

Well, thank him for the compliment, then, tell him that as long as he is involved with someone else, you are not interested. Words mean nothing. Actions are everything. Think of the girl he is with.
Would you want to be her? I am sure he is not telling her all of what he is saying to you. Do you think she would stick around if she knew he was calling you beautiful? Have integrity in your life.
And, make sure you know what this guy is about. What his true core moral fiber is. You deserve the best.

you do notice that he only said that you were beautiful...not to be mean or anything but if that's the only reason why he wants to be with you it isn't worth stressing out about it, try keeping your mind off him for a while. I know that it's easier said than done but you'll get their eventually.
