Tyson would F'ing KILL Douglas in a few short rounds. Not really alot to say there, it'd be on his highlight reel.

Foreman thought Ali would go down like Frazier and Norton who both gave Ali losses and brutal matches. Wouldn't you expect that to happen back then? I would. And Goerge did too. Coming back into a rematch Big George would know Ali ain't going down. Save his gas and just try to win indiviual rounds.

Lennox Lewis had a KO chin. McCall and Rahman both got him. Lennox really could have been done in at ANY point of the first fight. Just Vitali's damn eye got opened up. In a rematch Lennox would have went to sleep in the middle rounds. But he chose to retire instead of letting that happen to him.

Douglas would have won the rematch with Tyson unless he lacked motivation which was sometimes a problem using that jab and not running from Tyson and fighting hard like in Tokyo,

I think is Foerman would have learned to pace himself better he would have had a much better chance of winning. However I still think that Ali would have won the decision in a rematch.

Klitschko would have probably stopped Lewis had they had a rematch and barring he didn't get cut again of course by about a 8th round kayo. He seemed to have his number to me.

These rematches are of historical proportions. I think all of them would produce excitement. In Douglas-Tyson I, Tyson was uninspired and simply not motivated to fight. He did not train AT ALL! AT ALL! Can you imagine that? He wasn't supposed to last until the tenth round, in that case; but he did. If they were to have a rematch, and in their prime conditions, I think Douglas would last only two rounds. Tson will have vengeance in his mind.
Klitschko-Lewis was a heavyweight extravaganza. Vitali was giving Lewis a boxing lesson as the scorecards will attest. That was until Lewis opened a cut in Klitschko's right eye. Lewis's reign was supposed to end there, but in a dramatic twist of fate, it did not. He dodged a bullet right there. In a rematch, I see Klitschko picking up where he left off, giving Lewis another boxing clinic. I see Vitali winning either by unanimous decision or by corner stoppage.
In the battle of Ali-Foreman, it wasn't Ali's strength that defeated Foreman, it was his brain. He knew that Big George did not have extraordinary stamina and he used that to his advantage. In the second fight, I doubt Foreman will allow Ali to do that to him again. I think he will go right for the kill from the opening round. As Ali knows that Foreman will not be able to last, he will once again wear him down without Foreman even knowing. I see Ali beating George either by late-round stoppage or by unanimous decision.

Douglas by KO much earlier, say in three, Mike would be scared the second time around and lacks the heart & will to keep going.

Ali by descion, George won't punch himself out early this time, but still won't have enough down the strech to beat the Greatest.

The blogbaba likes Klitschko in the rematch, he dominated Lennox untill a serious of right hands busted open his face.
Vitali would prepare better defensively the second time around and beat Lennox.

Douglas fought the fight of his life in Tokyo that night and i don't know if he could've put together another fight like that. He certainly didn't in his first title defense against Holyfield and he got KO'd. I think Tyson would've trained much harder for the rematch because he looked uninspired in the first fight and i think he took Buster lightly. He wouldn't have made that mistake a second time and i think he would've stopped Buster in 5 rounds in the rematch.

Ali was a bad style match up for Foreman. He could box and move and he had a good chin. Foreman may have been a little smarter in the rematch and not have punched himself out so early trying to get the KO, but it wouldn't have mattered, Ali still beats him by a late stoppage or unanimous decision.

Vitali fought a good fight against Lennox and showed a lot of heart, but it was clear to me that Lennox wasn't in shape and focused for that fight. And remember, he had been training for a Kirk Johnson match that fell through and Vitali stepped in with only two weeks until the fight date. I don't think he was ready to face a fighter like Vitali with a long reach and very tall because he had been training for a fighter with a totally different style in Johnson. If they had fought a rematch he would have had the 8 or 9 weeks to prepare for Vitali and i think he would've been focused and would've stopped Vitali late in the fight.

Well it all depends when the rematch would have been, but I would say

Tyson over Douglas if they would of had their rematch within a year of the first fight.

I think Foreman would have knocked out Cassius Clay if they had a rematch.

Klitschko would have beaten Lewis that night if they continued fighting, so he definately would have annihilated him in any rematch.

Douglas - as long as Tyson keeps from eating him up
Foreman
Klitschko - love their fighting spirit.

We need classier fighters and fights.
