I've read some on this, as this question pops up every so often---I would have to say no--don't do it. Those skin lightening creams don't work and some can even harm your skin---causing scarring or even poisoning your body.

Be happy with the color you are, you make it sound like it is a bad thing to be a dark color, I want you to know something. I love a dark skinned woman, I think they are the most beautiful women there is. Be happy with the way you look, i'm sure you look just fine. See how M. Jackson looks, like a store window dummy.

Every race in the world has its own unique pigment color and in our natural environment our color were designed for a purpose. For example send two individuals under the hot summer sun in Africa, let say, a black and a white, you'll see the whiter skin will get severe sunburn while the darker color won't.

With the migrations of all different races all over the world we became aware of our pigmentation differences and we tend to wish ours were different. Like you, a darker color wished their color be whiter while a white color wished to be a bit darker. Some go the distance to hurt their natural skin to achieve their wishes.

Don't go down that road friend. Be content on your God's given gift. Human beauty in God's eyes is not measured on skin color, it's the hearts content that matters.

My advice, don't feel unfortunate with your color. Love it instead. Don't degrade yourself because of your color, be proud of it instead. If someone look down on you or doesn't like you because of your color, that's their problem not yours. Your color is your own identity don't lose it. It's who you are.

No if your using a bleach you'd have to put it all over to be even and that isn't even a guarantee. Also bleach is usually askin irritant and you skin will be irritated with the amount you will have to use to even notice a difference. Like yourself for who you are you don't need to change
