Before Adam and Eve were exiled from the garden of Eden, Did animals reproduce or did they have to suffer the sin we caused. I know Eve was punished with giving birth, but why female animals?

So Adam and Eve could have bore children before they were exiled? I had no idea! I thought everything was just a pair.

Eve was not punished with giving birth, but with pain in giving birth.

Animals were not blessed by God with immortality. For I don't know how long before Adam and Eve came on the scene, animals were the same as they are now, but I think animals then were either vegetarian or non aggressive. Animals do not sin, because they don't have freedom of choice. They only have their instincts to guide them. They are not responsible for what they do. But I don't know if animals are in pain when they give birth. I have seen cats, dogs and goats give birth (lived on farm) and I didn't see them suffering. Of course animals will not show you that they are in pain or weak if they can help it, so I really don't know. It doesn't seem logical though that God would punish them.

Good question. I've asked that during my research MANY times until I received a sound answer.

Eve was not punished by giving birth as the Bible states. All females have rights over men in due to the fact that when they are pregnant, they are most vulnerable, thus the man has to take care of her. The equality of male and female lies within the womb.

A man/woman must obey and love his mother above all kin because SHE'S the one who spent NINE MONTHS carrying you in her womb. Your mother is the gateway to heaven.

The Bible's statement that the woman is cursed with childbirth is a Jewish fabrication (Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy are the Torah) along with the ideal that the blame of 'original sin' lies with the woman in order for the men of that culture to possess the superiority over women.

I've read the Torah, Bible(s), and the Qur'an and in the last book Adam was actually blamed for his transgression. Also, the concept of 'original sin' is illogical due to the fact that God is called Almighty.

Being Almighty, couldn't He have just forgiven Adam and Eve for their transgression instead of having to sacrifice 'His only begotten son' thousands of years LATER in which case His other prophets or messengers would've been rendered useless?

Eve's punishment was "pain" in childbirth. I don't really know if animals experience pain when birthing a baby.

I'm not sure about other animals, but the snake was also punished to painful childbirth, which could be a metaphor for all animals.
