You may very well be asking this question as a wise guy, but I have an answer for anyone who is taking your question seriously.
The answer is right in your question - their innocence.
You see, while society may no longer believes promiscuity is a bad thing, deep down in our hearts, we know that the morally proper - and thus most desirable - people are those who are morally grounded and remain chaste.
