You just contradicted yourself right there. There isn't only one religion, there are loads. Why are there loads? People don't think alike. And some religions, like organisms, evolve, so you have Hinduism splitting off into Sikhism and Buddhism and Jainism, and Judaism splitting off into Islam and Christianity.

There is only one right religion.... but which one is it? That's what people waste their time arguing about all day long. There are too many variations of ancient texts and practices for mortals to know for sure. You would have to be an immortal spiritual being to know the answer. People claim they have dreams of talking to angels or to God, and that's how they cross that barrier, and then invent a religion of their own. Billions of people want a religion, but a unanimous dicision is impossible to make.

There are many religions because man created it as a form of a drug to help depressed peoples with their anxiety. It also tries to explain our purpose and what we are meant to do(destiny). The truth is there is no religion that is more real than any other. People of all religions tend to have a dogmatic state of mind encouraging them that they are correct(common to all humans). You should see the world in a global perspective to relize why peoples of all cultures believe they are right and are the only ones that are right.

There is only one faith(religion) as far as Jesus is concerned and that is belief in Him and His doctrine as taught in Scripture. All others are manmade. Only the Lord's church is found in the Bible, the one He died for. No manmade church comes from God.

..."only one"....? really....? what "one" would that be....? Would you say that "eye to eye" to The Jew...? or "eye to eye" to the Hindu...? or "eye to eye" to the Muslim...? or "eye to eye" to the Shintu Priest of China...? or "eye to eye" to the Pope...?
What "religion" are you talking about....? and just what is "religion"....? better yet... who are you being taught by...? I think you'd better get a more clear understanding of what "religion" is... I religiously drink coffee, every morning... does that make me a "religious" man... and do I follow the teaching of Juan Valdez and Mr. Coffee bean...? No..."religion" has absolutely nothing to due with the Diety of God... now... if you can identify "Him"... you'll start to understand about "religion" and "relationship"...then tell me, if you can... what "religion" is God anyhow...?

What the truth is for you, may not be the truth for someone else. We all need to respect each others right to believe or not believe however we choose and work towards understanding each other.
