Mine is the same. Go to your local hair salon and get "Smooth Down" shampoo and conditioner form Redken works wonders. Use "Clear Moisture" Polishing cream for a finished look after dry. Your hair will feel so much healthier and not so full and dry.

The cheapest way possible to get your hair silky and get rid of the frizz is to use an anti-frizz serum. My hair used to be extremely poofy and frizzy. You should try these steps.

1. Take a shower in the morning washing and conditioning your hair using Pantene Pro-V conditioner.
2. Use Zero-Frizz: Corrective Hair Serum (it has a big silver pump and is see-through with a clear syrupy-liquid inside) and put a quarter sized amount into your hair. If you have a part, apply a little by the roots of your hair by the part. Also apply it to the mainly frizzy area and the ends of your hair.
3. Put your wet hair into a pony-tail and let your hair dry by itself or blow dry the top of your head (don't worry about the pony-tail unless you want to).
4. In about 1-2 hours keep your hair down so that it can dry better.
5. Put just a little bit of a more liquidy anti-frizz serum (I use Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine) in the frizzy areas. Garnier Fructs Sleek & Shine works very well, and you can keep it in your purse or back-pack since it has an Open-Close turning pump--so no worry's about leaks or it accidently being opened!

Also if you have extremely thick hair that might even poof out--try getting your hair very layered. (I have about 8-10 layers) This will help make your hair fall down more and frame your hair.

After your hair is pretty much dry, it will look frizzy--but not after brushing it then it'll stay basically perfect all day! another product u might try using is cholesterol start using that on a regular basis and doing hot oil treatments

Hey there. I've long been a victem of frizzy hair but in my college years I have found out how to better deal with my hair.

Matrix Orange line (Sleek and smooth) has helped me a great deal, along with proper styling methods and a little bit of patience. Try using a straightener (even if your hair is straight) because the heat will set your hair and make it more resistant to humidity. It adds another 5-10 mins to your morning but the results are great. I reccomend a Chi, but if you dont want to spend 50+ dollars, then look for a gold plated one.

Nexus hair products. They are a bit more $ than say Pantene but well worth it. Remember to always apply a little conditioner to your hair once it's towel dried and follow that with a good styling product, including gel. Always comb it through after applying each product to evenly distibute it. Comb not brush and only when hair is still wet. To revive the curls spray on some Infusium leave-in conditioner and apply a little gel and you should be good to go. By doing this my hair has improved greatly and it looks silky, people can't believe it.

I suggest Pantene Pro-V. It will help, but when you get out of the shower do NOT scrub it with a towel it creates static and will make your hair really frizzy. Another suggestion is in the morning when you wake up take a spray bottle, fill it up with tap water and put in 2 tablespoons of your fave conditioner mix it and then spray some of it on. You should be frizz free for the rest of the day! good luck!

There really is no kind of shampoo or conditioner for that but when your hair is damp and starts to frizz just take some conditioner and smooth it in your hair and it will have no frizzy's.It works.

Bed head Control freak. My hair is super wavy and VERY thick. It makes me sooo mad, but it sounds a lot like yours. I also prefer my hair straight but no luck unless I spend two hours straightening it (or 45 blowdrying and putting the finishing touches on with the straightener....) Those products you mentioned sound like they should work but they don't? odd... good luck. =] Let me know!!
