I was wondering if there are any organizations out there that would help a mother and grandmother go to their son/grandson's graduation from basic training? The mother is not working right now and the grandmother is retired. We would really like to be there but do not have the finances to allow us to go to basic training graduation. If you can give us some ideas we would appreciate it.

You should turn on your email some one might help. I know I would help out but unfortunately I really messed up financially so I can't help any one any more or at least for a while. Mostly my fault but because some one who was to put in money for a business didn't owe up when he had money and I got stuck with all the bills.

the military doesn't aid, although you might be able to inquire at the local American Legion Post, VFW or your church for some financial assistance.
