Many atheists don't believe we have souls. I am an atheist, and I believe that we have souls. I think that anything that has emotions, and can feel love, hate, fear, or sadness....has a soul.
Where does it go when we die? I think reincarnation is very possible, although who can really be sure? If not reincarnation, then the soul just ceases to exist. It dies along with the body.

Who REALLY knows what happens to any soul after the body dies? Do you know? Has there been scientific proof that there is a soul in a human being? If there is a thing as a soul, where do you think the billions of souls who are not Christians go to?

A great deal would depend upon how one defined "soul." If you mean "the eternal spark of life that comes from God," clearly an atheist would believe that, since there is no God, nothing can come from God and so the soul, like God, does not exist.

The only thing you can say for sure about all atheists is that they think no deities are real. Probably the majority of atheists believe that there is no immortal soul, but I've never seen a survey to that effect so could easily be wrong.

I believe there is no immortal soul, and my body dies, I cease to exist.

As an Atheist I can tell you I have no concrete proof of what happens after death. Since no one has any credible, empirical evidence of any type of afterlife the leads me to believe there is none.

Does that mean absolutely there is none ? No, for there could be an afterlife that exists where no one is able to contact another realm, or at least this realm of existence

I believe what I believe based on all credible evidence I have at that given time.

My beliefs are always subject to change if new evidence proves my previous outlook incorrect.

Man get a brain. Do you think an atheist would believe in a soul?

Athiests don't believe in anything. They don't have souls because they can't hear GOD. They are corrupted by Satan. I really don't think it matters what they beleive. I just pray for people like that and hope that one day they will open their hearts. Thank you and GOD bless.

Most atheists do not believe in souls either. When you die, you cease utterly to exist.

You probably aren't going to find many atheists that will say they believe in a soul.
