“God saves Jewish people without Jesus, and he saves Christian people through Jesus. God has multiple covenants with multiple religions.”

Can anyone identify the source of this quote?

Do you agree with it?

fireball: "why use quotes that are unlabelled"
The simple answer to that is, I don't know whose quote it is, which is why I am asking.

Sounds like a possibility. I believe God judges people by the laws they have been given...and I do think we have examples of God giving some higher laws ans lesser laws.

While the actions of the covenants seem to vary, the promises involved are generally along the same lines of people promise to follow the commandments they've been given, and God promises to bless them for it.

lol God saves only on one occasion, when you worship Him alone and do good deeds.

Not through other means, not through the actions of someone else and definitely not on faith alone.

Therefore there are no covenants. Those are strictly man made inventions to boast around in the land.

Whoever said that quote was making a distinct observation but a very superficial one.

Because the message in both christianity and judaism came in different times and was the same: stop worshipping other crap and worship God and do good.

Edit: It is pretty sad to see how Christians have over time, clouded this message, with other things like trinity and mythological inventions.

God has covenants with mankind in general and with the Jews in particular. No covenant exists between God and christians, specifically.

No we are only saved through Jesus Christ, the remnant of Israel that "will" be saved as it explains in Romans 11, will HEAR the gospel of Jesus Christ, and receive it-- as Romans 10:17 says that "Faith comes from hearing and hearing the word of God"
-the Two witnesses in Revelation, the two annointed ones as is explained in Zecheriah 4, they are the ones who will proclaim the gospel to the jews.

The old covenant is no longer, Jesus is the NEW COVENANT. Has nothing to do with religion at all has to do with God's children, which we all are.

I cannot id. it. I don't agree with it. Most of YHVH's covenants were with mankind. The one with "Israel" might well be included in Pauls remark, "not all are Israel who are Israel". Or the Rev. 2:9 and 3:9 comment about "Jews" who are not!

God has an individual covenant with each and every one of us. He does not worry about what religion we attend, more about our own spirituality.
