He has hurt and used me over and over and I think I have finally fallen out of love with him. Is this possible? Has it happened to you? We are talking about a love you thought would always be there.

I think that after being hurt so many times, we begin to safeguard our feelings and become wiser. Your belief in love and another persons may mean one thing to you and something else to another. Your concept of love is that it should always be there, I agree if it is real from the start, but it sounds to me as though your friend was a bonafide user and yes it has happened to me. Now I realize that I did not have enough self-love or I would not have permitted it to go on as long as it did. Guess what , you are wiser from the experience.

Yes. It is possible. But for some people, it takes a while to realize that you've fallen out of love with them. And it may be hard to see it. Since you do see it, you should get out of the relationship and move on. You're allowd to care for them, and not be in love with them anymore. And yes, it's possible, obviously, considering you're going through it right now. Someone who hurts you and uses you really isn't somone you'd want to have in a relationship anyways.

The answer is yes. My first husband was a horrible person (didn't know that first), it developed over 10 years of marriage. By the time I realized I didn't love him anymore, the only thing left was the divorce lawyer.

It's possible. I think that if someone continues to hurt and use you, you can lose trust in that person, and without trust you cannot truly love someone.

yes. It is a rough road because you really did love him but when you come to your senses you wonder why you ever took it. And you see how it was doomed from the start. Its true, love is blind.

You are probably just now understanding that he doesn't really care, so yeah it's understandable that you don't feel love for him anymore.
