Any nice, secluded place we could go? Plus...once we become "hubby and wifey," how long do you think we should stay out of the office (meaning "extend our honeymoon")? When should we get back to the office? She's the accounting dep. head, and I'm an accounting supervisor.

In our firm, the department head and supervisor are on different levels. (Just so you should know.)

I say go somewhere where either neither of you have been or somewhere you both have been and love!

Try something new. A resort in the Domenican, or a trip to Jamaica. Somewhere in the Carribbeans is always a sexy choice. Or you could head to Spain or Europe and shop and lay around in the hotel ordering room service all day. It's really up to you where you want to take her. Somewhere she'll never forget and enjoyt he whole time she's there.

And you could stay for a week or more. Depends on what your job expects from you too. If you are in an important position (sounds like it to me) then you may be needed at the office sooner than you would like. But if they can manage without you for a few, then enjoy your stay for a week. Take in the sights, take pictures, enjoy it. It's a one time deal (most of the time)!

Hope this helped and wish ya the best.
CONGRATULATIONS!

Your Choice! What do you like? Mountains, Beach, Big City, Small Town, Foreign Country etc...... What is your budget? What region are you in now?

My wife and I went to Estes Park Colorado and had a secluded cabin without a phone. (office had one for messages) We love the mountains though and went hiking and shopping in Estes Park (cool quaint little town) and there were plenty of restaurants.

A co-worker just had his honeymoon in Aruba! Got a good deal because tourism has been down since the girl went missing! He said was very clean and he felt very safe. (get passport early to save money)

You cant beat the northern gulf coast of FL either. Clear water white sands, check out St. George Island!

Check out some bed and breakfast in smaller towns!

OR VEGAS!

What ever you two decide on will be special because you are married!

depends where you are and how much travelling you want to do. if you want water you could go to vancouver island on canada's west coast. ucluelet and tofino are both wonderful tiny little towns on the west coast of the island. victoria isn't a huge city but it has all the amenities you could ask for. you want mountains and skiing.........whistler, b.c. or the laurentians in quebec. of course vermont has great skiing as well.
if you want the theatre and shopping then N.Y.C./paris/london can't be beat!
personally i would head for seclusion and somewhere other than north america. they are too commercial for my taste.
there are many hotels in europe that have a main lodge, as well as individual cabins. if you chose to have a secluded cabin you could have privacy, but head up to the main lodge for dining and dancing when you felt like it. try austria - beautiful scenery, lovely people, its the best!
of course you could also come to oz! huge choice of vacation trips and tours! the great barrier reef- the coral is amazing.
our opera house is pretty grand! a large number of farms and stations offer a working holiday. and of course don't forget the outback! you could take part in the outback cattle drive!
point being........you have an entire world at your fingertips! start scouting the internet and getting info packets sent to you about various places.
good luck!
and by the way.......in answer to your question of how long to stay out of the office.....as long as you bloody can! you only get one honeymoon mate....so enjoy it!

Southern Mexico down by the Mayan Riviera is secluded and beautiful. There are great all-inclusive resorts that are top notch. Several local excursions. To be honest you can find enough to do at the resort without leaving!

Check out www.barcelo.com

We stayed at the Barcelo Maya Beach. Thirty minutes from Playa Del Carmen, but far enough from Cancun that you can have a good time without all the extra tourist and money...

My husband and I rented a cabin for a week just outside of Denver. It was so secluded, and we could also go to the city if we wanted. It was probably the best vacation I've been on. We got to know each other very well because we were so far away from other people. This is the place we stayed at.

i'd deal with it in a way the baby hasn´t were given time to omit me too plenty.truly say in case you´ve were given 15 days of honeymoon, spend a million/2 with your significant different and the diverse a million/2 both with the numerous different and the baby.Leaving the baby with a kin persons member or buddy for truly some days and revel interior the honeymoon.truly married couples pick time for themselves, particularly if there´s toddlers already ( a extreme intense-high quality smash).it truly is a few thing you´ll save in thoughts all of your life.once you come back decrease decrease back take the toddlers to the sea coast (if it´s on the point of you or you're in a position to look after to pay for it)or someplace interior the mountains (vacationing a farm with animals would nicely be extreme intense-high quality in the journey that they are very youthful).

We did an itialian escorted tour -- loved it. I love paris too.

We usually freestyle but no planning was quite nice for a honeymoon.

One to two weeks off I'd say. 2 max. If they can live without you longer than that they may decide they don't need you!
