Anyone ever been up in the observation deck at MSP if so, how do you get there and what is it like... im headed there in a few days...

I have heard from a friend that he was in it about 3 weeks ago... i know it is open... i want to know how to get there.

Go to the D concourse, and there should be a flight of stairs with a sign that says "Observation Deck". It's just a large room with large window, but it does give great views of A, B, C (especially), D, and E, as well as the MN ANG and runways 30R/12L and 4/22. Announcements over the PA can also be heard in the observation deck, so you don't have to worry about missing a PA. Visiting the observation deck is an absolute must at MSP!

I haven't been to the observation deck @ MSP since I live in Florida but just an FYI that Orlando International has closed their observation deck at present due to security. I looked on the website of MSP but to no avail on this topic. You may want to contact the airport directly in this matter. Here is the website:
