The second is from the Shema, the basic Jewish statement of faith. (It should be 'the lord is one' not 'the lord alone', and 'teach them to your children' not 'drill them into your children'). It's basically referring to the idea that for Jews, there should be nothing in their lives but God.

Perhaps an idylic country scene under a lovely glowing sun, with a small chapel to one side in which people are enraptured in the glory of God. That would kind of fit.

1 - Jesus said this in Luke 4:4. HE is the Word of God and his words are life. The Bible is also called the word of God. So, words, Jesus speaking... the Bible?

2 - Moses summoned all Isreal and spoke to them, including this bit (Deuteronomy 6:4). Answerer No. 1 made good points about that. So, visualise about a million Hebrews sitting in the desert listening to Moses. The tablets upon which the Ten Commandments were inscribed also contained the essence of this command.

3 - Simon Peter wrote this in his 2nd letter (2 Peter 1:20,21). He was saying the Old Testament, and the parts of the New Testament written up to that point, were inspired by the Holy Spirit, and were not just mens' ideas / interpretations of events. The dove is a recognised symbol of the Holy Spirit, so, perhaps hovering over a scribe...?

4 - Seems like Proverbs 3:1 to me. The King was instructing his son how to be wise, by listening, remembering and doing what his father taught him. So, a father speaking privately to his son?

5 - Psalm 119:97 - The Psalmist was extolling the wonder and loveliness of God's law and word. Meditation is a key thought here. Other Psalms speak of him not being able to sleep at night and finding peace by mediating on God's word then. Ancient scrolls were used for the law. Perhaps the Psalmist summoned a servant to bring them to his chambers.

All the best!

1. Is saying that we are fulfilled when we have spiritual insight on life not just our physical needs.
You could have a picture of someone taking part in a Catolic relief operation, with smiles on faces, the kind one has sometimes when one knows one is doing something really good for others. Mother Theresa?

2. This is the Shma, the Jewish creed, from Deuteronomy 6:4
Have a picture of people attending a service, eg a Mass service, as worshipping is expression of love for God.

3. You could have some Father of the church, or the Pope, studying the bible. The quote speaks of its reliability.

4. You could have a picture of city workers going in their pinstripes to work with looming towers above ... its sort of suggestive that we should consider Gods wisdom as well as what we are taught of the mechanics of our jobs.
