I don't think she is evil. Maybe she is unhappy or has mental or emotional issues. If this is stressing you ouy then I think you should perhaps talk to a relative or a family friend and maybe they can have a word with your mum and let her know how this is affecting you.
My own mum had serious issues when I was growing up and because I was the eldest kid she took it out on me a lot of the time and like you I just thought thought she was a nasty piece of work. I still have issues with the way I was treated but I realised that a lot of the time she didn't have control over her actions and I have come to understand her more.
It is very hard to come to terms with a parent who is abusive in any way but hopefully you can resolve your problems and achieve some peace.

There has to be more to it than this. Being a mother is not as easy as its cracked up to be. I'm not saying her behaviour is right, far from it, but I sometimes feel that all I do is shout at my kids (no don't throw things on the floor though!)
even when they don't seem to deserve it.
Alot of it is frustration at not being listened to.
Try talking to her if you can.
She may have alot more worries going on in her head that she doesn't feel she can discuss with you.
Not knowing your age......Are you scared of her?
Is she violent towards you in any way?
If so, seek outside help.
Good Luck.

That is not right that your mother is that way. Though it is not your fault it is mostly issues she has. My mom does not through things but she does shout at me and manipulate me. well that is not your problem. the best thing to do is to try to remove yourself from the situation if possible. Though to answer your question no you are not the only one with an evil mom.

I think its part of the job description. My mothers voice doesnt go below a million decibels and shes got a throwing arm on her that a shot putter would be proud of. Shes also got a glare on her that can turn a person to stone!

You know i asked myself that same Q when my parents were alive, but now that i think about it I kinda regret because they rasied me and stuff, and I mean there not bad all the time, but you really need them to get through life. Its basically a life lesson on how not to treart your kid and thats great, because with this you may the best parent ever, so just rember that

I know, but believe me it is better shouting than sitting on the couch all day and not giving a sh*t about everything. She cares about telly more than her life and our lives but I love her anyway. I think she's going through depression.

is that because you have done something to upset her? she shouldnt be acting this way but are you helping her enough or doing anything to make her like this? mothers are only human and are normal flawed people like me and you, they are not perfect and you should talk to your mother for both your benefits. i dont know your exact situation but im sure your mother loves you very much and one day you may long for a mothers love and wish that you still had it

There are many evil mothers around , especially those who prevent their children from seeing their fathers , wicked to the core.
