If so how did you find them? Did they take alot of equipment off of you since our government it to tight to give us proper funding!

Would you work with them again? Did you come across a differnt army group like the Australians and find them better?

Any quirks they have?

Thanks

I'm a Brit by the way!

Yup, I worked with plenty of brits, did many convoys with them. I loved working with them, am actually still in contact with a few. They were great guys, well trained and just fun to be around on down times. I would work with the Brits any time. I have also worked with the Aussies, and found them to be great as well. I am honored to have served in Iraq with both. It was just kind of rough during the world cup, i was a fan of both teams when i had to be.

Worked with the Brits and Germans in Kosovo, great professional soldiers. Unfortunately for me they had a better life, more common sense, and a better handle on military life than our people.

Did see a few exchanges of military issue stuff but mostly for different unit badges, then againg it was "peace" time action then.

I have worked around your forces.

My impressions:

You guys define the word: 'arrogant.'

You guys are competent - but have a very bad habit of discounting the competence of others.

Your staff operations need much improvement.
You people really need to learn that coordinating with your allies is important.

You make mistakes too.

Policies and rules that work for your army in your sector may be wildly inappropriate for others.

I had no contact with the Aussies - but the Japanese really impressed me. When we had Japanese units move through our sector - their coordination was superb and their units hit their SPs exactly on time. I did feel sorry for them though - their orders were to request assistance whenever they were shot at and they were not allowed to kick butt on their own. (Japanese politics.)

They were fuuny as hell, good time. They had no gear cause it seemed like they were pulling alcohol out of everything. Yeas, I'd work with them again, we got so drunk overseas
