I am male 16 years old, 5'7" 135 lb but my waist is 33" and body fat is 25%. I used to be 5'7" 120 with a 27" waist. I gained this all over the last year and 1/2. Thanks

Well...do you feel out of shape? If you run and get tired real fast or (for your height) think lifting a gallon of milk is a pain, then you probably are out of shape. in my opinion though, from reading the info you gave. You seem to be (no offense) just really fat skin and bone. Now if you know your outta shape I am sure you're next question would probably be....how do I get in shape?

Well, you can start by adjusting your diet first (aka what you eat) because a maintained diet will usually also regulate what your body will become. Then, you can start by exercise to put some muscle on ya. Running is great for the legs as well as losing some of that fat (25% is too high imo). Weight lifting is another good muscle builder. Consult your coach, doctor, or someone with good experience with weight lifting.

To give you a comparison I am 20 years old, 5'3" and 132lbs. Body fat prolly around 10-12%. You're kinda light for your height don't you think? Anyways, you decide for yourself if you think you're in or out of shape and if you are. Well, you read the above paragraph and know what you have to do. Just also know that it takes dedication to get into really good shape. Takes a lot more than just 1 week to see results so don't get discouraged.

Well, out of shape means that you cant run a mile nonstop. Now thats out of shape. If you mean overweight, then no. Actually, your BMI is 21.1 meaning your at a healthy weight. But if you feel the need to shape up, then here are some websites.

I think you know you're out of shape if you know your body fat is 25%. What have you been doing for the last year and a half?

You're very young and you can change your habits and get yourself more healthy. Go for it. Just be more active and change your eating habits. Eat more lean meat & protein and fewer fatty/ junk foods & fast foods. I don't think you weigh too much, but I do think your body composition is way off. You should be closer to 15% body fat.

You don't sound out of shape, but if you used to in better shape, you would probably really be happy if you were like that again.. ;)
