Ok my Christian brethren, now that I have your attention I would like to ask you this.
According to the Bible man is supposed to till the ground. I take it that means we are responsible for our environment, animals and what not.
If we are responsible for taking care of the environment
And angels are responsible for taking care of us
Are we greater than the angels but less than the animals?
or are we less than the angels but greater than the animals?

You ARE confused!
According to the Bible, man is made in the image of God and is a steward of God's Earth. Being a steward includes taking care of the environment and the animals. Angels are beings that serve GOD. They are tasked by God to do things that benefit us, however, their primary responsibility is to serve God.
Animals were made as a part of God's world to help serve man and provide different things for the world. They are subservient to man as God's steward.
Gen.1-3. While angels currently have different power than we do, they are not made in the image of God and do not have a plan of salvation. They are ministering spirits for God.

Hmmmm... There are some interesting thing about Genesis 1 if you compare it to ancient Hebrew poetry. But since I am neither a Christian nor an atheist I should probably find something else to do.
