I work in the Microbiology Department of the local hospital, and my job involves doing the MRSA screens and test, and in my experience MRSA does not cause the symptoms you are describing, MRSA affects wounds and can be carried passively in the nostrils. If you have any concerns regarding your eyes, see your GP or call NHS Direct, 08454647. Eye swabs from your GP can determine any infections but I doubt it is MRSA, have you recently had surgery?

Hope this helps.
