If you are flying between a state and Hawaii, you do not need a passport. No you do not go through Customs as you are flying between part of the US. It is no different than flying between any of the other 49 states.

Yes, you can go to Hawaii with just your USA driver's license. You can go anywhere in the USA with your driver's license, they won't need to check your visa or passport since this is only "domestic" travel (travel within the USA). If you go out of the country, you will need your passport & visa to come back to USA. I would suggest you renew both your visa & passport since it's expired. It's NOT a good idea to be carrying an expired visa anyway. Make sure all your documents are up to date, don't carry anything expired. It's better to be safe than sorry. GOOD LUCK & HAVE FUN IN HAWAII.

Does your passport have a valid visa??? if not... I'm sorry amigo, but you won't be coming back to the USA, if you do not have a valid visa you cannot go to puerto rico, hawaii, virgin island even though they are part of the united states, you have to leave land to go to them (in puerto rico you have to pass international waters) so............. NO TE VALLAS!!!!!
