It really depends on a lot of things, like your diet and your metabolism.

I have never lost any weight playing DDR and if I did it was like a pound or two. All it has done for me is tone my legs more. I have a real quick metabolism.

I did have a couple of friends lose some weight playing it though. One of them lost 30 pounds! He plays it practically every day.

It's good exercise and it's fun to play. Have fun!

I have actually found myself to lose no weight playing ddr on heavy/challenge skill level for large amounts of time although it may be different for each person
