It wouldn't make a whole lot of sense, that's fer sure. You wanna convince someone of your point of view, it's much better to talk to them face-to-face. Just don't try it with me; I get REAL mean when confronted by an evangelizing pest.

NO It is not silly to show God's love and gift of salvation anywhere. You never know when someone might see a verse or hear the truth and get God's word out and start studying for themsleves and contact you later to share God's word.
Jesus taught from a fishing boat because the crowd grew so large that had gathered to here the truth from him.
We are to preach the word, always, anywhere and everywhere.

The power of God is mighty and even someone on Yahoo answers has the possibility of being saved and delivered from their sins. Just because you've never heard of it doesn't mean that it has not happened. Have faith and keep trusting in God.

It's not silly. All people's religions require them to outreach- and there is no wrong place to do that. You should always be open to speak about your beleifs anywhere, because you never know when someone has been looking for the answer that you have. But I would only try to convert someone if they genuinely show interest in your beleifs.

No person can "convert" another. Only God can reveal to a heart that He is. On the other hand, speaking for myself, I enjoy answering questions about the bible, because I haved studied the bible for many years and it's one of my favorite subjects. I do my best to answer from scripture, and if I don't know the answer, I don't guess.

I Do What I Have to!!! If nothing else to make someone see another Way!!!

Each morning upon rising, and each evening before sleeping, gives thanks for the life within you and for all life, for the good things the Creator has given you and for the opportunity to grow a little more each day. Consider your thoughts and actions of the past day and seek for the courage and strength to be a better person. Seek for the things that will benefit others (everyone).

2. Respect. Respect means "To feel or show honor or esteem for someone or something; to consider the well being of, or to treat someone or something with deference or courtesy". Showing respect is a basic law of life.

3. Once a council has decided something in unity, respect demands that no one speak secretly against what has been decided. If the council has made an error, that error will become apparent to everyone in its own time.

4. Be truthful at all times, and under all conditions.

5. Always treat your guests with honor and consideration. Give of your best food, your best blankets, the best part of your house, and your best service to your guests.

6. The hurt of one is the hurt of all; the honor of one is the honor of all.

7. Receive strangers and outsiders with a loving heart and as members of the human family.

8. All the races and tribes in the world are like the different colored flowers of one meadow. All are beautiful. As children of the Creator they must all be respected.

9. To serve others, to be of some use to family, community, nation, and the world is one of the main purposes for which human beings have been created. Do not fill yourself with your own affairs and forget you’re most important talks. True happiness comes only to those who dedicate their lives to the service of others.

10. Observe moderation and balance in all things.

11. Know those things that lead to your well-being and those things that lead to your destruction.

12. Listen to and follow the guidance given to your heart. Expect guidance to come in many forms; in prayer, in dreams, in times of quiet solitude, and in the words and deeds of wise Elders and friends

Wahoo!!!

People like to sound smart or funny so they put up a front. Everybody hurts. Everybody's searching for one grain of Truth. Somebody, somewhere out there gets it. That's why I keep writing. If one person is changed by what I write, than it's been worth it.

not to my knowledge but I have had some people email me that an answer I gave to a question (not theirs) helped them out. I thank God that something shared here in this forum has helped others in a difficult time! Be careful what you read and don't believe all that you read!

We're not converting! We're just having educated (sometimes) debates and we're learning from them. How they affect the person is of no concern ot us.
