I work as a translator and I have downloaded SDL Translator onto my computer - when I type a document in English, and I've finished, I select the text and then click on either automatic translation (pretty accurate) or professional translation (totally accurate but you have to pay for it). I'm fortunate enough to know just what is right and 'true' French because I was brought up to be bilingual, but nevertheless SDL still helps with the occasional problem of subtlety of meaning. Bonne chance.

http://french.about.com/library/begin/bl_food.htm

This is part of about.com's French site. This page has basic food vocab and some listening excersizes over the vocab. I used this site a lot when I was in high school.

go to www.freetranslation.com and use your words that you need to know and type them in and find out what the definition is. Okay? Good luck. And if you need to, ask questions titled french help and then type the words that you need to know what they mean and I can give you the definitions. I'll add you to my watchlist. Edit your question and put down the words you need to know. I'll get back to you asap.
