Like is part of God's plan for me to ask so many questions about the Christian religion, or is it more broad, like he might want me to become a journalist so I can help show the world the mistakes we are making?

If it's second by second, doesn't that make our beloved free will a figment of our imagination.

And why does God plan for murderers and rapers to, well, murder and rape?

Like an Architect of a house. God laidout a plan for people to make use of. He designed a master Bedroom purposedly for the husband and wife who will own and maintain the integrity of a home with his children. There are other bedrooms for the use of the children. How the occupants of the house will run their home is no longer a concern for an architect however, he will leave all the necessary elements of the house with informations on how it could best be used and preserved to stay longer in good condition
The same as the architect, God gave us life and a place to live on and resources to make use of. He gave His laws for us to be concerned every now and then if we want to live in His grace. He gave us the Free Will to take the roads we want to take on to our journey through life. The road we choose will lead us to the destiny we desire. If you act stupidly in your life, that is your choice because you thought it is what you want. The murderers and the rapists are never designed by God. These are people want to have things done the easy way because of the greed, insecurity, lust for power, abuse and misuse of strength, hate, anger and evil thoughts of all forms.

The conundrum of God's plan and Free will. You are not the first to puzzle over this and you are unlikely to find the answer here at YA. You will just have to puzzle this one out within your own mind or you can wait and ask God when you get to judgement day.

Loved the anthropomorphism, Rallie Florencio C.

T.F., in theology, free will has to do with the ability to look to God for salvation, not the day-to-day decisions that we make. However, if we do have the ability to choose God, and therefore will for ourselves our own salvation, then good luck finding your answer because this is not scripturally supported in the least. It's twisted around pretty good, but it's not supported. God chooses us, we don't choose him.

Let me see - where do I start?

There is a constant interplay between your free agency and destiny. God knows what you can be and what you will be; the biggest issue is that your will and God's will should converge from time to time.

Free will is not imagined, for if it were then sin would not exist as we would be spared the opportunity to commit it!

In committing sin, we must also repent if we wish to progress. Repentance too is a choice.

If we follow your argument to its logical conclusion, then Satan himself is also a figment of the imagination, and why would God allow Satan to exist?

To find out God's plan for your life, Get out of the throne and let Christ have it. If you accept Christ and begin to mature spiritually, the questions you ask will be less you centered and more Christ-centered.
