Actual death toll from Iraq ??

Question

I used to have a link to a site that said the number of troops that have died in Iraq is just that...troops that have died in Iraq. It said that the troops who were wounded in Iraq and died in other places (like Germany) are not counted. When the reported death toll hit 2,000 the actual death toll was more like 9,000.

Does anyone have any information on this?

I am not a liberal. I support the President and our troops. My husband is a soldier.

I am; however, interested in this.

20,000 in total, 3,000 or probably closer to 4 are dead, the rest are hurt enough to not be in battle. Even if they are inflating the numbers, we need to get this done, it is a volunteer army and these men are more that happy to die for this brace cause. The last thing they need is some lib on yahoo answers posting things to make them feel like they are baby killers and that they died in vein. They DID NOT, and the rest of us patriots solute them for their efforts. Remember sometimes the tree of liberty must be watered with the blood of patriots, this is why we have an army, that way all americans dont have to die, ony a very very very very small number, and we can all still be free. What a great system, quit trying to F|_|ck it up.

there are more than 3000 soldiers dead.. i have 3 soldiers in Iraq right now.. 1 is there for his 3rd tour and the other 2 are there on their 1st tour... i think we need 2 get our self's out of that country. we have no business what so ever 2 tel those people how 2 live their lives. if they wanna kill each other than let them. we should not have to suffer 4 their stupidity. there will be no more militay men and women left in our country is Bush keeps this up.. also my cousins friend is in the marines gettin ready 2 be sent to iraq in a few months... and it makes me mad more than anything when Bush says this was exspected.. that our family and loved ones are being killed. but if his twins were sent our there he would make sure they got out as fast as possible..

Plenty of webpages list ALL of the casualties. Like CNN

Do you really think that not a single family or friend of one of the not counted KIA's would have gone public and said " hey, why is my brother, friend not listed among the casualties"

The people who say things like that, have no clue how the military operates or to how local communities around military post operate, otherwise they would know, its just not possible to hide casualties.


Its just like the liberal blog myths that the military has recruiters in south and central america .
