So it's God living in us right?

So that means it's also Jesus living in us right?

What's the difference between the Holy Spirit and the soul, is the soul an individual thing, while the Holy Spirit is connected, to well I guess everything.

So does this mean there's a part of God in all of us, and if so why don't I ever feel it?

(what 'angel' said is very true)

Well, the soul, first of all, is like the driver of the car. It is YOU. your body is like the car, and the your soul is like the driver in the car, it controls everything. Im not sure, but i think part of what happens in ur brain, the uncontious part is part of the body and the contiouse part is what u are in controll of.

It is true that God, the Holy Spirit and Jesus are all the same.
Think of it like this:
Water can be compared to this concpet:

H2O can be in 3 differnt forms but always stay H2O:
liquid(water)
solid(ice)
gas(water vapour)

God can be in 3 differnt forms but always stay God:
God the father
Jesus
The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is described in the Bible as the comforter. He is like the one that shows you the way here on earth, he is a bit of God in side u. But not every one has it in them. You only have the Holy Spirit in you if you have given your heart to Jesus and accepted Him as your saviour and the son of God.

If u havent given ur heart to Jesus, u wont have the Holy Spirit in you and it will fell like there is someting missing from your life. But when you do accept God u will feel his love and peace all the time. It is very hard to describe, but when u feel it, u know its God, you know its the Holy Spirit. Youll have nothing to fear, and all ur burdens will be given to God. You will feel free, you will be free.

The Holy Spirit is Gods love inside you. And yes, if the Holy Spirit is in your heart, Jesus is in your heart and God too, cos although they are in different forms, they are still one.

The Holy Spirit is the third part of the trinity, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. God is Jehovah, He created the earth and man and everything. Jesus is God in the flesh, He came to earth to teach us by example and to die a sacrificial death for our sins. When Jesus went back to heaven He sent, the comforter,Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit comforts, teaches, and gives us boldness to witness to others. When you ask Jesus to be your personal savior and turn away from your sins, a part of God lives in you.

according to islam , he is the angel jibril(gabreal) whom his metion is to deliver the revelations from God to his prophets .
ut he isnot god , we don't believe in that trinity , we believe in one god , who has neither partners nor sons.

edit:the Qur’an mentions the holy spirit referring to the angel Gabriel, sent to support and guide the prophets, including Muhammad, Jesus and others (peace be upon them all). Please read in the holy Qur’an Surah 16, verse 106; Surah 2, verse 87 and 253; Surah 5, verse 110.

He was the angel sent to the Virgin Mary giving her glad tidings of her pregnancy and birth of Jesus - through the will and word of God: “Be”.

You can read in the holy Qur’an the meaning of the following in Surah 19, named after Mary herself, verses 34 and 35:

*{That is Jesus, son of Maryam, in word of truth, concerning which they are wrangling. In no way is it for Allah to take Him as a child. Hymned be He! When He decrees a Command, then He only says to it: “Be!” and it is.}*

Similarly was the first human being ‘Adam’ created from earthly matter by the will and word of God “Be”. Please read the meaning of the following in Surah 3, verse 59:
*{Surely the likeness of Jesus in the Providence of Allah is as the likeness of Adam. He [Allah] created him of dust, thereafter He said to him, “Be!” so he becomes.}*

In contrast to the authentic Qur’an, the Bible is a collection of human writings that were, centuries later, considered “holy” by the Church. So we cannot accept Luke 1: 35, or any other such human statement that contradicts a proven fact of science or history, or an authentic text, or is in self-conflict with other passages of the same Bible.

Further, Luke who, a disciple of Paul - neither of Jesus nor of any of his disciples – was reflecting the Pauline version of Christianity. This was deifying Jesus as a “begotten son of God (the Highest)”, and both together with the “Holy Spirit” forming the “Trinity”, is a concept borrowed from pagan beliefs.

Please recall also that the Gospel of Luke was not written as a holy book to start with, but was rather a personal message from Luke to his friend Theophilus:

“3: Therefore, since I myself have carefully investigated everything from the
beginning, it seemed good also to me to write an orderly account for you, most excellent Theophilus,

4: so that you may know the certainty of the things you have been taught”.

The “Acts” were similarly introduced:

“1: In my former book, Theophilus, I wrote about all that Jesus began to do and to teach

2: until the day he was taken up to heaven, after giving instructions through the Holy Spirit to the apostles he had chosen.”

It is so obvious that the writer of either or both books - Gospel of Luke and the Acts - would have never imagined that his message/s to a friend would one day be taken as a part of a “Holy” book!!

peace.

well, He is in you, but you just haven't come into communion with Him yet. I used to be right where you are, and its hard, you're very unsure of just about everything. But once you start talking to the Lord, little by little you will be able to hear His voice more and more. And ask Him to keep filling you up with His Spirit! most people have holes and it feels like He will fill you up but then He leaks right back out again. so ask Him to fill you up until you are overflowing! And if you are sincere, He will give you the desire of your heart.

Lord, Thou hast heard the desire of the humble: Thou wilt prepare their heart, Thou wilt cause thine ear to hear. Ps. 10:17

A holy spirit is a ghost whose sheet has become moth eaten.

Ooops, I blasphemed. (pausing while I burst into flames).

John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments. 16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

Romans 8

1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. 3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: 4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. 9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. 10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. 12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. 13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. 15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. 16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

The Holy Spirit can only reside in a place where He is welcome. I suspect from your handle that the Holy Spirit is not welcome.
