Let’s say that we get hit by a devastating natural or disaster or a massive terrorist attack. Let’s say that ALL power to the whole country has been disabled, and pandemonium has kicked in, the government has imposed marshal law and it's everyone for them selves. Lets say this will happen just 10 minutes from the time you read this, would you be prepared to SURVIVE (means live)??

Have you thought of a "bug out plan"?

Do you have the skills, mental fortitude, and necessary equipment to survive?

This is a very good question. I wonder how many people above me are really ready like they say they are. You can have all the guns and ammo you want..but...you won't survive 5 days without water. You have to look at this situation...like your water and food will be cut off immediately and indefinately.

Even if you have 25 gal of drinking water stored in your closet, it really wouldn't last you that long...think about it.

You can not be "too" prepared is the way I look at it.

Yeah I think so I know how to use a gun if nessasary, I've been taught survival skill If lost in in a situation inside your own home or even you local neightbor hood. I know how to make weapons out of very simple house hold objects. I can swim and I know how pretty much all natrual disaters occur and how to avoid them or just protect your self from them. Im not also a stunned type of guy, I go on and do what I need to do no matter what kind of situation.

I live in a place where it would be neigh impossible to survive considering nothing is grown here aside from corn and it's not the season. The locan supermarket could keep us alive for a few week, but after that, who knows? I could prolly survive in the state park by shooting animals and stuff, but It'd be hard.

i guess i'm just sitting here wondering why so much time and energy goes into these hypothetical questions that most likely won't ever happen while we ignore the real life crisis that are happening right now.

i guess thinking about how you could shoot up the neighbors if you 'needed' to is more fun than wondering what you could do RIGHT NOW to help the vets suffering at walter reed.

in the end i think this kind of thinking is the worst kind of self indulgence...
