John Frieda products work wonders on my hair. I used it while I was growing out my short choppy cut. My hair is also very thick, and can be extremely frizzy without product, so I still use John Frieda's Secret Weapon gloss. It comes in a long tube, and it's awesome. It tames your locks and leaves them silky smooth. Just make sure you don't put too much on, otherwise it can make you look greasy. A little bit of this product goes a long way. It's probably best to start with a small amount, and then work your way up to a place you're comfortable with.

I bought mine at Wal-mart, so you shouldn't have any problems finding it at your local drugstore.

You should definitely buy a garnier frutice product. However if you are buying a serum. (It a liquid that comes in those small containers. IT should say on the bottle that its a serum.) Then you have to make sure not to use a lot. It should be less than a pump and when your applying it to your hair don't put a lot on the roots. It will look very greasy(personal experience.) Hope that helps. Ive also tried hair spraying my hair when it is wet. When it dries it doesn't have the weird texture and is very silky. Hope This Helps!!

Glad you asked!! Try Softee Super Freeze from the beauty supply store. It's made by Softee Products, Memphis TN. It's a clear protein styling gel. It really works and you can use as much or as little as you want to achieve the effect. Since you don't want it to be too stiff, use it lightly. It can be easily rinsed out too.

My friend is bi-racial and has very short hair. She washes her hair at night and puts a wrap lotion in it and then wraps it in scarf or handkerchief so that it lays down and dries naturally and so that she doesn't get bed head while she's sleeping. Her hair always looks soft, shiny and beautiful.
