kodak easy share f.o.a. sunshine?

hi there, when i dock my p712 onto the plus 3 it takes donkeys ages for it to initalize, is it that i have too many photos on my s.d. card or am i just doin something silly, thanks johnboy

Easy share software is really heavy and slows even my new pc down.
I just take the card out and put it into the PC and drag them across, I dont even have easy share installed.
