does anyone know if this is possible or a website that can teach these kind of things

It's possible as there is a small capacitor in the camera that holds a high charge of voltage at relatively low amperage (I believe).

Don't get too crazy with this until you actually check the schematics on it and find out how much that capacitor holds.

A good website to find this type of project -they actually have a pretty neat stop motion camera project that uses a disposable camera and aluminum foil- is:

Just be careful.

Sounds like this qualifies for an "Urban Legend" award.
While that buzzing- whining sound *is* using the low voltage battery to create a high voltage charge for the flash, there's just not enough power in the tiny battery that's in those cameras to do much more than give you a shock. So- the shock wouldn't last very long- or be anywhere near the debilitating charge from a Taser.

The flash in a disposable camera uses what's called a capacitor to store an electrical charge so it can flash the bulb effectively. If torn apart correctly, a person could isolate only the battery, charger, and capacitor and theoretically shock someone, although it's not worth it.

I've "tasered" myself a couple of times from disposable cameras!
It's uncomfortable, but not enough to stop an attacker.

A camera flash can produce 10,000 Volts it could seriously shock you or even kill you. Im a camera tech and been accendently shocked before it's not fun.
