NO! FAFSA stands for FREE Application for Federal Student Aid. Any site that wants you to pay for renewal or submission is taking advantage of you. There is no information that they can offer you that you can't find for free somewhere else (on this site, for example, and on reputable sites like www.finaid.org). If you aren't sure how to reply to one of the questions, call/visit your college Financial Aid Office or even your old high school guidance office. (If you're worried that asking a question will have some affect on your financial aid package [which it won't], then just don't give them your name.) Some city's public libraries also offer assistance to people applying for student aid (and have books on scholarships you can apply for).

Take a little time to read about the application process on www.fafsa.ed.gov or www.finaid.org and make sure you file on the official Department of Education website. Please, don't get taken in by all the financial aid scams out there. Companies like fafsa[dot]com are reprehensible, in my opinion, and will (in my opinion, again) eventually be shut down for their questionable marketing strategies.

Don't get scammed. FAFSA app isn't that hard. Do your taxes first. The FAFSA app is easy after your taxes are done. If you are under a certain age and your parents are supporting you then you will need their tax forms too. The FAFSA form tells you if you need that information. Print up the worksheets from the FAFSA web cite and fill them out first. Then use those numbers to fill out your FAFSA application. It will take you no time at all.
