Ha! My 1 year old (1 today hooray!!!) 'helps' me when I'm typing too, she's got elastic arms I'm sure, she can reach ANYTHING!
She 'helped' my husband win a game on the XBOX 360, 'Lost Planet' now she's obsessed with trying to switch it on and grab the controllers!
She's mad about the remote controls for the telly too, is yours?
She's BONKERS!!
The dog's tail? HAHA, When my eldest daughter was a toddler, she would sit by the gate ti the kitchen and hand our dog, (a Rottweiler) a handful of crisps and let the dog lick the flavour off then pop the crisps in her mouth..BLEEUUGH!
Result: Deliriously happy dog
Giggling baby
MORTIFIED MOTHER!!

My daughter, Peyton, is a little typist. She stands next to me and pushes the number keys on the right hand side of the computer. Every once in a while she will get her little fingers on the letters and it's surprising that words can actually come out of what she types...at least small ones like to, me,hi...She really loves the mouse though! She clicks all over the page!

Let her do it. Give her lots of praise, keep looking at your baby as much as possible.
Your baby is curious, that's a good sign. Only thing keep the time to about 15 mins max. This may be inconvenient for you but much better for baby.
