when i bought it, i noticed my display wasn't working, i've seen other grand Cherokees that have that display working and says everything its going on with your jeep...

More than likely there's a fuse burned out. Check your fuses. That VIC (Vehicle Information Center) is very helpful, my 96 Grand Cherokee Limited has that feature and I love it. Makes routine maintenance a little easier plus it tells you if something's wrong, i.e. sensors bad, low washer fluid, low coolant, charging system problems, etc. It also shows if your in 4WD 2WD part time or full time or low range 4WD. Pretty informative system. It also will beep when there's a message that somethings wrong.

Do you have the Laredo package? I think it's only available with the Laredo.
It could be a short, a bad fuse, or just age has caused it to go bad.
We have one and it can be annoying.
