I just put some soft claws on my 5 month old cat. Some of the caps are hidden between his toes, while others are visible. Some of the visible ones are a little crooked. Other cats ive seen with the caps have had all of them visible and straight. He isnt bothered by the caps, though he has been licking his paws more often and now shakes his paws every once in a while. I hope im not hurting him. Can anyone with experience help me out?

Soft claws should be cut to fit the size of your kitten's claws. If not, then they will not stick properly. They may be too long if he's shaking his paws and may be uncomfortable. You can check them and see if some of them will fall off, then cut the length. Also, you should trim his nails. Just snip off the ends/tips with toe nail clippers. Be CAREFUL not to cut too short, you can cut the little vein that is in there and hurt them. Squeeze some of the glue inside the soft claw, insert his claw into it and squeeze enough to secure. I usually hold the cat for 5 minutes to let the claws set. This way they can't pull them off. If the length does need to be shortened, they will fall off within a week. I hope this helps!

I raced to reply to this positioned as much as tell you the way merciless de-clawing became. fortuitously I study those comfortable claws. Declawing is like slicing off finger suggestions! definitely a pal of mine keeps talking approximately declawing her cat and that is rather demanding me. i became thinking the place you may get a number of those comfortable claws. i might rather prefer to tell her to aim it out. I definitely have on no account heard of them and that i think of they sound astounding! :)

Are you talking about those little rubbery things that go over their claws? If so, I have only heard of the vet putting those on. Sorry!

If you take him to a vet's office they should be able to show you how to properly apply them.

The soft paws website says to email them if you have trouble
