Positively. Most milk has bovine hormones, which are bad for you. Hormones that belong in your body effect you (think pms) and the cow hormones effect people more than they know. Biologically, people are meant to drink milk as babies, (human milk) not animal milk forever. Milk also has fat and calories, so you arent missing out on that! You do need to get calcium, but there are supplements for that, and calcium is found in other foods. I don't mean to be a hippocrate (sp?) because I love milk, but as far as health goes, you are better off without it. You also benefit because that animal cruelty is not on your head, it's really sad how they treat cows, although I wont go into the details. Just be sure to get enough calcium.

You could be damaging your bones and other organs because calcium is such an important nutrient.
You might want to examine your reasons why you don't drink milk. Do you also avoid other dairy products? If it is for ethical reasons and you disagree with the way cows are treated, try switching to organic. It is free of preservatives, the cows are not given artificial hormones nor are they fed with food treated with pesticide.
If you simply don't like the flavor of milk, look for other things in the grocery store that have added calcium, sometimes it is added to juices, soy milk, bread, etc. Or take a calcium supplement. Just make sure you're getting enough of it!

You aren't getting the amount of calcium that milk gives you for strong bones. I suggest making sure that you are either taking a multi-vitamin or calcium pills so that you are getting that calcium so later on in life you won't have osteoporosis. You can also get that calcium in Chocolate Milk or Strawberry Milk. If you are supplementing the calcium that milk gives you, you shouldbe fine just make sure that you are getting that calcium it's important for later on especially if you are a woman.

I doubt that it does affect you, cuz they sterilize the milk which takes all the vitamins out of it anyway. If you wanted to really drink milk that would be good for you you'd have to go and milk a cow. I don't drink milk either and I'm fine. lol

It can effect it negatively if your calcium levels drop.
Like said here before u can get osteporosis later on etc.Along with calcium supplements in the form of tablets, u can balance ur calcium needs to an extent with other food like cheese, yoghurt, curd, soya milk, even ice cream!
If u have concerns regarding fat content, substitute with low fat.:)

You do not need milk or any dairy to get the required amount of calcium. Of course you don't get calcium from McDonald's. If you want to increase your calcium take a magnesium supplement. Magnesium builds calcium.
Research other foods that increase calcium.

Milk is meant for calves, not humans.. You will be fine. It is however an excellent source of calcium, protein, and vit b.. so make sure you get it from other sources.
