I need to know what the 23 flavours are in DR. Pepper, even guesses will be appreciated. I think some of them are vanilla, cherry, prune, almond, cinnimon, black licorice, ginger, pork, apple, pear... Dpn't know but maybe I have a couple right, what do you guys think?

Contrary to a popular urban legend, Dr Pepper does not and never has contained prune juice.

Yes, I've heard the "23 fruit flavors" of Dr. Pepper [sic] for years. I can tell you this is nonsense! I can't reveal the source (he'd get fired), but here is a list of some of the real flavoring ingredients:


Vanillin (imitation vanilla)
Extract of almond
denatured rum (no joke)
Oil of orange
lactic acid (optional; once listed separately from "flavorings")

One of them is cherry, and there is some sort of spice but I don't know what it is.
