They say your supposed to take the chicken and put it between wax paper and thin it out like that? What the heck is wax paper and where do I get it from? Is there a difference between that and just thinning it out on the table? Someone told me I can take Saran wrap, and thin it in there?

I don't think you nessesarlit need any type of paper to put in between your chick when you are thinning it out. And wax paper is paper that is skimmed with a light layer of wax to keep it from sticking to anything. And I think saran wrap would work just fine.

Actually, I find wax paper to rip more when pounding out chicken. I'd go with the Saran wrap. Both are found in any grocery near foil and paper towels and such. If your mallet has those pointy parts, you might want to use the side of it to prevent pounding the paper or wrap into the meat. It works just the same.

I don't know what you would need to beat your chicken for but wax paper is sold at any grocery store next to the plastic wrap, tin foil, etc.

You can place the deboned piece of chicken in a heavy zip loc plastic bag. Close it, lay on a flat surface, and use something heavy like the smooth side of a meat mallet, and pound (beat it) till it's thinner. I have even used my shoe heel to do this with.

Maybe you shouldn't be cooking.

I guess saran wrap would work, but make sure it doesn't rip and get plastic in your chicken.

I hope it's not a live chicken, you could be arrested for animal cruelty. It you want to thin it out then put it on a diet.
