Some birds never tame. We had birds that were tame from day one and others that were like yours. Seems like each has its own personality. I would temporarily back off from trying to be friends with the birds. Most birds bite and hiss because they feel threatened. So perhaps your friendly gestures are being mistaken by them. Back off a little and approach them cautiously and see if they change. Talk to them all the time. Its the best way to make friends.

It will be difficult to try and physically tame birds that you have had for a while - they simply don't expect it and misunderstand your movements. Try not to get to close as they will feel threatened, you really cannot be dominant with a bird the way you could with a cat or dog. Your size is simply to threatening. Try sitting a short distance from the cage and talk to them softly so that they get used to your voice. Do this for a week or so and then gradually move closer to them. Although you may never be able to handle them they will begin to associate you with a kind voice and they will become accustomed to you.

With patience and dominace, you have to let the birds know what is and isnt acceptable. They have to understand that you are the boss and not them. Also, a waterbottle is a good tool, a squrt in the eye, does the trick, and will not harm them.

2 days isn't adequate time to learn the believe of a chicken. if it replaced into raised around human beings it might flow slightly quicker than if it replaced into raised by potential of its mom in an aviary. provide it some time. communicate on your chicken for the 1st few days. once you provide it nutrition and water, place your hand slowly in the cage and in simple terms depart it there. in case you opt to clip the wings or no longer, take it in a small room like a closet after approximately 2 weeks. in simple terms enable your chicken stroll around you and get used to you. if it lands on your shoulder, great! in simple terms shop speaking to it in a peaceful, yet overly enthusiastic voice. when you chicken gets on your finger in the closet, you are able to start up taking him out interior of something of the domicile. in simple terms be careful with domicile windows. they might't tell that there is glass there and could attempt to fly to freedom. they might ruin thier neck and that i very nearly lost a chicken this style. :( in simple terms have a lot of endurance and don't provide up. you will win her or him over. with a lot of interest and endurance i might provide it a month or month and a 0.5. reliable good fortune!
