All the above assume you still have some (older) version of IE on your PC, without which you would not be able to obtain the latest version by downloading from Microsoft.
If you don't want both, download IE 7 before you remove Firefox.
Alternatively, it might be more convenient to install IE 7 from a computer magazine cover CD.

why firefox is 100 times bettter lol. go to the control panel and click add/remove programs to uninstall firefox. then download ie7 from microsft and follow the steps to install it... you will also need to download the program ypops.exe to use with outlook, because yahoo requires a pop3 program.

First you can have both without any problems. Now to install IE7 use Internet Explorer and go to windows update. It will be one of the updates. Since it is almost impossible to delete IE all together you should have a version on IE on your system.

Hi

You will need to go to start, then control panel and then Add or remove programs. When you are there you need to find Firefox and uninstall it. Then visit this website to install IE7 http://www.microsoft.com/windows/products/winfamily/ie/default.mspx

you need to no longer be using the two, the two are quite risky to apply with many exploits and are widespread objective by potential of hackers. incredibly use the two Mozilla's Firefox or Google's Chrome or others. incredibly, any browser is extra effectual/safer than IE.
