I love these ham and cheese spirals. They look like they took a long time, but they really don't.

1 egg
1 Tbsp. water
1 sheet frozen puff pastry (1/2 of 17-1/4-oz. pkg.), thawed
1/4 cup KRAFT 100% Grated Parmesan Cheese, divided
1/4 tsp. ground red pepper (cayenne)
8 slices OSCAR MAYER Shaved Smoked or Brown Sugar Ham

PREHEAT oven to 400°F. Beat egg and water until blended; set aside. Unfold pastry on lightly floured surface. Roll into 14x10-inch rectangle; cut in half lengthwise. Brush both pastry halves lightly with some of the egg mixture. Sprinkle 3 Tbsp. of the cheese and the pepper evenly over one of the pastry pieces; cover with ham slices. Place remaining pastry piece, egg-side down, over ham. Roll gently with rolling pin to seal. Brush with additional egg mixture.
ROLL up tightly to form a 14-inch log, starting at one of the long sides. Cut log crosswise into 24 slices. Place, cut-sides down, on parchment-covered baking sheet. Brush with remaining egg mixture; sprinkle with remaining 1 Tbsp. cheese.
BAKE 12 to 14 min. or until golden brown. Serve warm or at room temperature.

Heres one that turns out really nice and is easy to make in advance. Get some super thin sliced ham, cream chease, and tortillias. Spread softened creamcheese on the tortillia, salt & pepper, and cover with the thin ham. Roll it into a tube shape, wrap in plastic wrap, and refridgerate. Before the party you can slice it into little round pinwheels. They are pretty and delicious. If you want, you can mince red onions and mix a bit in the cream cheese first, add garlic or onion salt, and you can use green tortillias if you like. Also, I always use the super cheep lunch meat (the 50 cent kind) and they turn out great. Good luck!

ps, they are easier to slice cold so it's actually better to do in advance.

Sure you can. There are these appetizers that I make that are really yummy. the ingredients are Ham (buddig), cream cheese (soft), and whole dill pickles (claussen are the best but can use vlasic too). You take a couple of pieces of ham and spread cream cheese on it then roll it around the pickle. Then take the pickle and cut it into slices. You can keep it in the fridge for a couple days and still tastes fabulous. Just make sure they are covered up or in a covered container. Thats just one I like. I hope you have fun.

Do the meatballs with BBQ sauce,in a crock pot.Put a container with pretzel sticks next to the pot to use as picker uppers.Good dips can be made 2 days ahead of time, just stir before serving.I use tortilla chips they are sturdy.Stuff small tomatoes with cream cheese and bacon chips, they can be stuffed and put in a container ahead of time.Deviled eggs can be made and covered with Saran wrap the morning of, then just sprinkle with paprika and serve.Hope this helps.

this is one you can prepare a couple of days before but need to cook it on the day....
get some puff pastry spread tomato paste on it...cover it with your favorite things...like cheese olives ham...then roll it and brush some oil on it...then once you have done slice them in pieces so you end up with little wheel like snails..then when you want them you simply put them in the oven at 180 for about 15min....very easy and tasty.....

--another simple one is: shrimp and cocktail sauce. served cold

--variety of cheeses and some triscuts

--some sort of small-fruit plate (strawberries, grapes(seedless) etc.

hope this helps ,,,,,,,,,, Google, if you need more ideas, good luck with your party!

Bruschetta. Yes and no. Make the topping ahead and put on the bread just before serving.
