I can't remember what I was watching, but on this TV show they put drops of visine in a drink/food and later the person was sick? Can this really happen????

Yeah it's true, but it's not just visine. Any form of artificial tears or saline solution will have the same effect. Bartenders are often infamous for doing this to people who stiff them on the tip.

Visine is a medication for one's eyes. unless one has swallowed his/her eyes, it would not make sense to ingest Visine. of course, everything on TV is real.

I had a bartender tell me that years ago. She said if someone got really rude and ticked her off she would put it in their drink.
